Understands and maintains the state requirements for operation of a food service establishment. Prepares food for the students and staff of EBI. Communicates pertinent information regarding daily operations to either the coordinator or a manager.  Prepares food in any area as directed in the absence of personnel.

• Communicate:  Pass on information to future shifts and inform the Director of Nursing of any health-related concerns for any ALF resident.  Inform the Director of Nursing or the Administrator of changes requiring contact of the primary healthcare provider, home health agency, another third-party provider or transfer to a facility able to provide the appropriate services. 
• Assist with Medications:  Assist residents with self-administered medication in accordance with doctor's orders.  Document all medications that have been taken with assistance.  (This responsibility is performed only by staff who have had the associated required training.)
• Schedule appointments: Assist with scheduling resident medical and dental appointments.  Coordinate these appointments with appointment calendar, vehicle use calendar and driver.  Drive residents to appointments as needed.

The RN's primary role is that of Personal Care Attendant.  Additional responsibilities that the RN license allows include: 

• Perform the initial training and updates for ALF staff assisting with medications.  Possibly other initial staff training as well.
• Instruct personal care staff “in-services” on topics such as personal hygiene, infection control, geriatric care, medication assistance, etc.
• Oversee the Annual TB screening at NTM Homes to include training nurses, obtaining the script from the doctor and record keeping.
• Administer medications in accordance with a health care provider's order or prescription label and document all occurrences of medication administration.
• Communicate with health care professional staff by phone and/or fax regarding new or revised medication orders.  Follow up on medication orders and changes.
• Manage pill organizers to be used only by residents who self-administer medications.  Instruct the resident in the proper use of the pill organizer.
• Administer and regulate portable oxygen.
• Assist with routine colostomy care.
• Assist and monitor the application of anti-embolism stockings or hosiery.
• Give prepackaged enemas pursuant to a physician's order.
• Take or supervise the taking of vital signs along with appropriate documentation.   Maintain a monthly ALF resident record of weight, blood pressure, and pulse rate. 
• Conduct weekly blood pressure clinic for ALF residents, retirees in independent housing and volunteers.
• Administer TB tests and read the results of said tests during annual staff TB screening.

To Facilitate Member Care

Processes charges and transfers related to staff, student, intern and employee accounts, makes transfers from GL accounts, and ensures that accurate statements are generated for receivables accounts, in compliance with Ethnos360 policy.  Communicates with both the Finance Director and the Student Life department regarding student accounts, creating reports as necessary to track students' progress on their school bills. There are additional duties as assigned.

1. Work with a collaborative team to create videos promoting the vision and purpose of Ethnos360. This would be the whole package deal, including concept of video, storyboarding, getting footage, editing and adding closed captioning, graphics and special effects.

2. Edit former videos to bring them up to our current brand standards.

Work closely with the editorial team to adapt existing content and to create new original content for the benefit of our communities. Work with the Social Media Manager on responding to questions, comments and feedback in our social communities and follow-up accordingly. Follow #Ethnos360 on social media, as well as many of our members who are involved on social media.  There is a wealth of repost-able posts.

Working within the look of the current campaign and the overall Ethnos360 design standards, design and prepare for print products (brochures, flyers, booklets and magazine), web pages and social media posts.  The process includes but is not limited to:

• Meeting with the graphic design manager, managing editor and/or customers to discuss the intent and content for the product.
• Selecting photos, fonts and other graphical elements.
• Determining how to use and how to treat those elements, including cropping, color correction, type size and style, and illustration styles.
• Designing products using Adobe Creative Cloud apps.

Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Communications. Responsible to place orders, submit expense reports and review monthly statements. Handle correspondence for the Director of Communications as requested. Other duties as assigned.

Oversee the nutritional needs of the Assisted Living Facility residents and the independent residents of the Latham Center. Train and supervise the cooks in meal preparation and service. Schedule all full-time and part-time cooks/helpers in the kitchen, including weekends and holidays. Follow the state-approved menu, noting alterations and/or substitutions. Maintain kitchen and dining room food handling procedures in accordance with county and state guidelines. Inform the ALF Administrator or nursing staff on duty of changes or variations in normal eating habits of residents.

Use commercial power equipment/machinery for facility grounds maintenance. Perform preventative and/or limited maintenance on the above-mentioned equipment. Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, landscaping, and troubleshooting landscape problems. Assist with the installation and maintenance/repair of irrigation system. Maintain and perform a pesticide and herbicide schedule with appropriate training. Other duties as assigned. 

Oversee the carpentry shop building and equipment. Use hand and power tools for facility maintenance. Perform preventative and/or limited maintenance of the above-mentioned tools. Install cabinets, tile, wood trim, windows/doors, and other “finish” woodwork. Set up forms for concrete work, assist with drywall installation. and assist with general repairs. To provide quality technical expertise for Ethnos360 Bible Institute students, faculty, and staff in the areas of construction, plumbing, electrical, painting, concrete, and general maintenance work.  You will work alongside a team consisting of 4-6 individuals- including students and volunteers.

Cook and serve meals during scheduled cooking hours/days. Follow the State approved menu, noting alterations and/or substitutions. Instruct new residents of dining room procedures. Assist in maintaining a weekly/daily shopping list, plus other responsibilities relevant to the position.

Responsibilities will be opening and sorting mail, creating designs, scanning boxed receipts, proofing others work, making address changes as needed for the Ethnos360 magazine, forwarding missionary mail, processing end of the month mail/vouchers, Bookstore check and cash processing, Bookstore credit card batch processing and the processing of credit card donations.
