About Phil Koop

Phil Koop is the Executive Director of NTM Aviation which has its international headquarters in Arizona. Phil’s parents Abe and Dee Koop were church planting missionaries in Brazil with New Tribes Mission for 45 years. Phil and his wife Ellen are members of the Kleefeld Evangelical Mennonite Church in Kleefeld, Manitoba. They began service with NTM Aviation in the Philippines in 1982, and then transferred to the Aviation headquarters in Arizona in 1992. Phil has served in various areas of management within the organization, joined the leadership team in 1998, and became the Executive Director in 2011.
