Childcare Assistant Teachers serve 3+ mornings a week. Their duties include: Caring for the Children. Assisting with planning, preparation and maintenance. Filling in for the Lead Teacher if needed. Communicating with the Children (clearly and consistently), plus the Parents, Lead Teacher and Coordinator.

Requirements
| Skills: | AA degree in Early Childhood Education or 1 year experience in childcare required. Joyfully willing to serve in childcare and able to love the children well. Willing to learn, to try new things, to receive instruction and to give input to lead teacher. Also, the ability to communicate (and listen) lovingly with children, parents, lead teacher and the Childcare Coordinator. |

| Comments: | Good health and energy levels are necessary as this ministry role requires one to be on their feet most of a morning, as well as getting up and down off the floor and the picking up of children. This is a part time position and can be supplemented by involvement in other ministry responsibilities on the MTC campus. |
