Jon Leedahl was stabilized through the night of October 15th (local time) in Papua New Guinea and flown to Australia the morning of the 16th. His wife, Adie, reported that he was evaluated by the doctors there and the first concern was Jon’s right leg which is badly broken. After surgery we learned that they have been able to save his leg so far, but are still concerned with ongoing complications for that leg and his other injuries.
