Jamie and Char Hunt are committed to seeing the job completed with their senders behind them.

Jamie and Char Hunt are thankful for their “sensational senders.” The couple is keenly aware of how impossible it would be to translate the Bible, plant tribal churches, or even live among the unreached without many different team players. The Hunts are thankful for those God has burdened to be a part of their sending team from California to Connecticut.

They explain that reaching the unreached has fierce opposition with “Satan as the conniving captain.” Jamie and Char are committed to seeing the job completed with their senders behind them.

One “miracle church” from New Jersey just called them up and introduced themselves as the new members of their supporting team one day years ago.

They’ve had families who decided to choose to be a part of their team so that they could teach their children how to give specifically. This family has followed them in prayer and giving so that they could have a personal connection as families doing different parts of the same job.

God has used these situations to encourage Jamie and Char not to lose heart and they say that the best thing about being a part of this team is, there are no tryouts and the rewards are eternal.

The Hunts are encouraging us to be like Paul when he says, “Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you. Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown” (1 Corinthians 9:23-25).
