Travelling to a foreign country, learning a new culture and language, finding housing, flights to and from the people group — what do these have in common? Finances! The world still uses money in order to get things accomplished, and it’s no different in missions. That’s where NTM Canada’s finance team in Durham, Ontario, comes in.

The Vision of the Finance Team

Located on the main floor of the home office, the finance team isn’t the loudest bunch of people. But they have a passionate vision, summed up by Dave Ducommun, director of the finance team: “Our heart beat is to see our co-workers overseas be able to focus on their job—establishing thriving churches among previously unreached people groups. We are a part of the church planting team; we just happen to work from here in Ontario.”
