Campus Centre

With your support of this multi-purpose building, more believers will be challenged to engage in the Great Commission at recruitment events, more missionary candidates will be equipped for cross-cultural church planting, and more missionaries on the front-lines will be provided the support they need.

Ultimately, the people groups who today are unreached will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In 1942, Ethnos Canada was founded as New Tribes Mission. Since 1968, we have been mobilizing, equipping, and supporting believers for cross-cultural church planting at our campus in Durham, Ontario.

In 1972, a rustic pole structure was built using local trees. This building has served the campus for almost 50 years as a conference centre and gymnasium, but it is no longer cost-effective to maintain nor operate. A replacement building is needed.

    This Multipurpose Building will Enable:

Ethnos to host church youth groups for missions-exposure opportunities.
A gymnasium for our K-12 school and for our staff and students in missionary training.
Ethnos to invite community groups onto our campus to expose them to why we exist.
Ethnos to hold mission conferences again.
Missionaries and missionary candidates to have life-on-life discipleship outside of the classroom.

    PROJECT DETAILS:
    8,000 sq ft building.
Estimated cost of $1.5 million. More than $770,000 has already been given (as of January 20, 2022).
Footings and foundation projected to be poured in spring of 2022.

    Why Partner with Ethnos Canada?
There is a very real need for well-trained and well-served missionaries to answer the cry from unreached people groups to move in and serve among them.

For nearly 80 years, Ethnos has demonstrated its ability to assist the local church in effectively planting churches by mobilizing, equipping and coordinating missionaries. These missionaries have evangelized unreached people groups, translated the Scriptures, and established indigenous New Testament churches.

Ethnos is recognized throughout the missions community for its excellence and thoroughness, and we have been continually improving.

It is now time to improve the Durham campus with a new multi-purpose building.

We have a long legacy of making necessary improvements without incurring debt. This has been accomplished by utilizing the skills, talents and gifts of our personnel and a faithful team of ministry partners and friends.

    Your Partnership is Needed
With your support of this multi-purpose building, more believers will be challenged to engage in the Great Commission at recruitment events, more missionary candidates will be equipped for cross-cultural church planting, and more missionaries on the front-lines will be provided the support they need.

Ultimately, the people groups who today are unreached will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
