Peter was born in Paraguay, South America. He came to Canada when he was thirteen and was first introduced to the Gospel at age fourteen. He was saved when he was nineteen and immediately sensed God’s call into the ministry. Peter and his wife Linda met at Nipawin Bible Institute, Saskatchewan. During Peter’s last two years of Bible School they served in Pastoral ministry under the guidance of Bible School faculty. Upon graduation they served in Pastoral ministry with the Associated Gospel Churches in Uranium City, SK and then an independent church in Altona, MB, while he was a student at Winnipeg Bible College and Seminary. In 1976 they entered the training with Ethnos Canada. After completing the training they were asked to serve on the teaching staff at the missionary training centre. They served in this capacity for four years then shifted to representation and recruitment. Peter served in leadership with Ethnos Canada at the executive level for many years as well as in the coordination of the Mobilizing effort through Ethnos Canada. Peter also taught for 10 years at Millar College of the Bible while he continued his representation ministry.

Peter & Linda have travelled extensively overseas, visiting the work of Ethnos Canada on the mission field. They minister, with a special emphasis on tribal evangelism, in Churches and Bible Colleges in Canada, speaking at mission conferences, youth groups, Christian schools, and where ever they are invited.

They live in La Crete, Alberta, and they have 4 grown children with families of their own.

Ethnos Canada  began in 1942 as New Tribes Mission and has become one of the largest mission organizations working in Bible translation and church planting worldwide. It remains committed in its focus to reach unreached people groups that have no access to the Gospel. Today Ethnos Canada has approximately 3,000 missionaries serving together with the national church in 30 nations. By God’s grace a church is being planted amongst a previously unreached people group on average every 45 days, together with a translation of the Bible being completed in their language of the Bible being completed in their language.
