Manitoba, Canada
We both grew up in Manitoba and met while working at summer camp. Medori had been thinking about serving the Lord cross-culturally for a couple of years and had graduated from the Ethnos360 Bible Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin a couple of years before. After we met, Levi decided he wanted to go to the Ethnos360 Bible Institute as well. God has used many things to move us in the direction of being involved in cross-cultural ministry to the unreached. But one of the biggest things has been the realization that there are still so many people who have never heard the gospel, and so few workers to spread out amongst those people. We believe God deserves praise and glory from every person on earth, yet there are those who have not yet had the opportunity to believe in Him.
A passage that has been really impactful to us and our journey towards cross-cultural church planting is Romans 10:13-15: “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?”
