BRIAN & MICHAELLA
Virginia, USA
We are not superheroes, but through the power of the Holy Spirit in us, we know that anything is possible, including using us to live in another culture, learn language, thrive in a completely different environment, translate, disciple, and faithfully communicate God’s Word to others. We are excited to see where He will lead us next!
GREG & BETHANY
Ontario, Canada
We’ve always believed that the Great Commission is important, and we have enjoyed supporting missions. But when we heard from Ethnos missionaries and a young lady who grew up as a missionary kid, of the many people groups that still don’t have a Bible in their language, and no access to the gospel in their language, we were surprised at the need there was for people to go minister cross-culturally.
DAVID & LAUREL
Alberta, Canada
With qualifications for mission aviation now in the logbook, we have been training here at Emanate since last August. This summer we will be moving down to Ethnos360 Aviation’s headquarters in Arizona to continue with training that will equip us to serve wherever God leads us!
HARRY
Northamptonshire, England
I did not feel any kind of special call to missions but rather I saw just how many people are still out in the world without the gospel and without hope. I saw how few people there are that are giving their lives to God’s cause and I saw in His Word a command to take the gospel to every nation.
CAROLYN
Ontario, Canada
It’s been really encouraging to be in the training, learning about culture and language learning, how to present the Word in a cultural context, and of course, practical skills like Jungle Camp. In the future, I am hoping to work with Ethnos’ Indigenous Ministries team and am excited to see where God takes me.
AMANDA
Minnesota, USA
I grew up in western Minnesota and heard about Emanate Training while attending the Ethnos360 Bible Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin. During my time at the Bible School, I learned that there were still unreached people groups with no understanding of the gospel and I recognized the need for believers who would dedicate their lives to serving the Lord through church planting among the unreached.
Staff
SHANE & KAREN
Ontario, Canada
After serving in Asia-Pacific for a few years, Shane and Karen returned to Canada for critical health needs related to a hereditary condition Shane has. They rejoined the training staff and feel privileged to be a part of equipping labourers the Lord has raised up to send into the fields.
MATT & JOAN
Ontario, Canada
We’ve been a part of the training team for Ethnos Canada since 2003 and have been helping with Jungle Camp since 2011. We love being a part of Jungle Camp both because we enjoy nature and the simpler way of life during Jungle Camp but also because we like the focused time for strengthening relationships with our missionary candidates.
