Travel to our beautiful Ethnos Campus in Durham, Ontario by highway coach from Nipawin, SK (pick-ups available along the route). Once you are at the campus you will participate in our Off The Grid experience for three days.

These unique Jungle Camp houses are made by our missionary students, from cedar poles, plastic, duct tape, and mud for the stove. Discover what it’s like to live off the grid with no electricity, in preparation for cross-cultural missions.

For the remainder of the week, you will then stay in a regular student apartment (with all the conveniences).

Experience informative teaching sessions, activities, campfires, great food and time spent with veteran missionaries in our beautiful rustic setting.

There is also a one-day trip planned to visit Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Discover God’s heart for the nations and the role that He has for you in fulfilling the Great Commission.

What do Off The Grid alumni have to say?

How has Off The Grid changed lives? OTG alumni share how they’ve been challenged to join God in His work of reaching every tribe, tongue and nation.

“I needed to be reminded of God’s loving character, how He cares for the nations. When I came to Off The Grid, that’s exactly what I got. God cares for the nations and that’s what He wants me to do.”
—Emily Swonke

God is still building His church! Pretty amazing. A weekend away that was very impactful and reminds me what is really important.

Lindsay

A blessed time of Christ-centered, missions-focused, God-glorifying fellowship”

“Off the Grid was an eye-opening experience that showed me what it really means to be a part of missions. It was encouraging to know that contributing to missions isn’t just going overseas but can be done from anywhere.

OTG Attendees

It was such an amazing experience being at OTG, my husband and I can’t stop rejoicing in the hospitality and knowledge that we took away from being there.
