Some twenty years ago, several missionaries to the Chimane people in Bolivia started a recording project. That recording project expanded to become a Christian radio station that broadcasted 24/7 in five languages, bringing encouragement to many believers in Bolivia.
Unfortunately, there have been problems in the last two years. The Chimane radio team, made up of expat missionaries and Bolivian Christians, writes, “Today because of the high cost of electricity, three lightning strikes and many repairs, we are presently off the air. It’s a sad day when the radio is not on to encourage the many who listen.”
The team is working hard to put the radio station back on the air, but their financial situation is slowing their progress immensely. Please pray that God will provide the needed funds to return the Chimane Radio
station to the air.
